CJC-1295 with DAC: hormone results versus fitness claims
CJC-1295 with DAC is a long-acting analogue of growth hormone–releasing hormone. Its drug-affinity complex binds to albumin after injection, keeping it in circulation for days. CJC without DAC, often called modified GRF (1–29), is a different molecule and should not inherit its study results or schedules. [1–3]
What has been shown in people?
Two randomized, placebo-controlled dose-escalation studies in healthy adults measured hormone responses over 28 and 49 days. After a single CJC-1295 dose, average growth-hormone levels were about two to ten times baseline for at least six days; IGF-1 rose about 1.5 to three times baseline for nine to eleven days. The estimated half-life was roughly six to eight days. [1]
A smaller physiology study found that overnight growth-hormone pulses persisted a week after injection, alongside higher baseline hormone levels. Neither study was designed to show bigger muscles, fat loss, injury recovery, better sleep, or longer life. A measured hormone rise should not be presented as those outcomes. [1,2]
What are the limits and risks?
The published healthy-adult exposure was brief. FDA's review notes uncertainty about the precise drug substance and long-term safety, plus possible immune responses to injected peptide products. Sustained IGF-1 exposure may matter clinically for people with endocrine or other health conditions. The small trials cannot rule out uncommon harms. [1,3]
STUDIED AMOUNT
How much?
SOURCE CONTEXT
What it refers to
studied subcutaneous amounts described in the early dose-escalation human research as relatively well tolerated over its short observation period.
30–60 mcg/kg — studied subcutaneous amounts described in the early dose-escalation human research as relatively well tolerated over its short observation period. Other doses were also studied. This is a report of trial exposure, not a validated dose for body composition, and it should not be converted into a self-injection schedule for a supplier vial. [1]
Read detailed dosing notes
There is no established effective and safe adult fitness dose for CJC-1295 with DAC. The no-DAC anecdotal daily schedule on this site refers to a different molecule and does not apply here. [1,3]
